Got Questions?

Everything you need to know about admissions, fees, and life at WIA.

How does WIA support orphans and underprivileged children?

+

WIA was built around a simple belief: no child should be denied a quality education because of circumstance. We reserve a dedicated intake of seats each year for orphans and children from low-income households, offered at zero or heavily subsidised fees. We also work directly with local guardians, mosques, and community organisations in Bauchi to identify children who need support the most.

What is the tiered admission system and how are fees decided?

+

Our three-tier system means every family pays according to their means. Tier 1 is fully subsidised for verified orphans and the most vulnerable. Tier 2 is reduced-fee for lower-income households. Tier 3 is standard-fee for families who can contribute fully — and their contribution directly cross-subsidises Tier 1 and 2 places. Detailed fee schedules are published each term on the Admissions page.

What age groups and grade levels does WIA currently accept?

+

We enrol children from ages 3 through 12, covering Early Years (Nursery & KG), Primary (Grade 1–3). Each cohort is capped to preserve class sizes and ensure individual attention for every learner.

What does a typical school day look like at WIA?

+

The day opens with a structured morning assembly that blends reflection, current events, and student showcases. Core lessons run in focused 50-minute blocks, interspersed with collaborative project time, outdoor breaks, and our signature 'Discovery Hour' — an unstructured period where students pursue interests ranging from robotics to poetry.

What makes WIA different from other schools in the region?

+

What sets WIA apart is deliberate by design. Our admissions model prioritises access for every deserving family. Our curriculum meets international standards without losing sight of who our students are. And our investment in technology positions us decades ahead of the regional norm.
