The Wunti International Academy Scholarship Programme, sponsored by the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation through the Bala Wunti Education Fund — opening doors to quality education for children who need it most.
Why this programme exists
Every child deserves the chance to learn.
We believe every Nigerian child deserves access to quality education — regardless of tribe, religion or family background. Our scholarships are strictly need-based, awarded only to children who can demonstrate an inability to fund their education.
Applying is completely free

What the scholarship covers
Tuition
The beneficiary's school fees, settled each term.
Uniform
The school-provided uniform, at no cost to the family.
Stationery
Books and learning materials the child needs.
The scholarship covers only costs directly related to the child's education — school fees, uniform and stationery. All funds are disbursed by the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation directly to the school, never to the beneficiary or guardian.
Who qualifies
Genuine need
The child has lost one or both parents, or the family can demonstrate they have no financial means to fund the child's education without support.
Commitment to learning
The child shows a genuine and sustained interest in pursuing their education.
Compliance
The child and their guardian agree to abide by the rules and expectations set out in the Scholarship Policy.
How to apply — 2026 / 2027
Apply online
Complete the official scholarship application form online. It's free, takes a few minutes, and asks why the child is eligible for need-based support.
One reference
Provide one reference from a recognised community leader or religious leader who can speak to the family's need.
Confidential verification
The Foundation carries out a confidential investigation to verify the information provided. A scholarship is awarded only upon successful verification.
