The Wunti International Academy Scholarship Programme, sponsored by the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation through the Bala Wunti Education Fund, opening doors to quality education for children who need it most.
Why this programme exists
Every child deserves the chance to learn.
We believe every Nigerian child deserves access to quality education, regardless of tribe, religion or family background. Our scholarships are strictly need-based, awarded only to children who can demonstrate an inability to fund their education.
Applying is completely free
Wunti International Academy and the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation will never ask you to pay for a scholarship application or award. Apply only through wia.ng/scholarships. If anyone asks you to pay, or shares a different application link, please report it to us at contact@wia.ng.
What the scholarship covers
Tuition
The beneficiary's school fees, settled each term.
Uniform
The school-provided uniform, at no cost to the family.
Stationery
Books and learning materials the child needs.
The scholarship covers only costs directly related to the child's education: school fees, uniform and stationery. All funds are disbursed by the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation directly to the school, never to the beneficiary or guardian.
Who qualifies
Genuine need
The child has lost one or both parents, or the family can demonstrate they have no financial means to fund the child's education without support.
Commitment to learning
The child shows a genuine and sustained interest in pursuing their education.
Compliance
The child and their guardian agree to abide by the rules and expectations set out in the Scholarship Policy.
The scholarship process for 2026 / 2027
From first application to a fully funded place, here is exactly what happens. Five clear steps, and you never pay for a scholarship.

On wia.ng, tap the scholarship link to open our official application form. It's completely free and takes just a few minutes.

Committee screening
Our scholarship committee reviews and screens every application confidentially to confirm genuine, need-based eligibility.

In-person screening
If you qualify, we invite you for an in-person screening to meet the family and verify the information provided.

Receive your application code
Pass the screening and you are issued a personal scholarship application code.
- 05
Apply with your code, no payment
Head to the main admission form on wia.ng and apply using your code. You pay nothing. The scholarship covers your child's place.

Please note
Applying for a scholarship is always free, and if you are awarded one you pay nothing to enrol. The standard ₦3,000 admission application fee applies only to regular (non-scholarship) admission, and it is non-refundable, so please pay it only when you are certain you wish to apply.
