Wunti International Academy is a private school based in Bauchi, Nigeria. We are the data controller responsible for the information collected through this admissions portal. You can reach us at info@wia.ng.

To process an admission, we collect:

• Child details — name, date of birth, sex, state of origin, religion, nationality, prior schooling, and any special needs or health information you choose to share.
• Guardian and contact details — names, relationship to the child, profession, email, phone, and communication preferences.
• Supporting documents and photos you upload (for example, the child's birth certificate, passport photograph, immunisation or prior school records), which are stored privately.
• Payment records relating to the application fee — the payment reference and status only. The fee is collected by our payment processor (Paystack); we never receive or store your card details.

We use this information solely to receive, assess, and process the application for admission — including reviewing eligibility, contacting you about the application, assigning a class, and confirming payment of the application fee.

We process your data on two lawful bases under the NDPR: your consent, which you give when you submit the application; and the need to take steps at your request prior to entering a contract of enrolment (processing the application). You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, though this may mean we can no longer process the application.

We share data only as needed to process the admission:

• Our payment processor (Paystack), to take and confirm the application fee.
• Our email and SMS providers, to send you messages about the application.
• Named scholarship sponsors, where a scholarship applies — and only the child's name, intended class, and application status; never health, contact, or document details.

We do not sell your data or share it for marketing purposes.

We retain application data for the duration of the admissions process and for as long afterwards as is reasonably necessary or as required by law. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

Under the NDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, and to request its deletion. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@wia.ng.

By using this admissions portal you agree to provide accurate and truthful information, and to use the portal only for submitting and managing a genuine application. Submitting an application does not guarantee admission; all offers are at the school's discretion and subject to review. The application fee is for processing the application and is non-refundable. We may update, suspend, or withdraw the portal at any time, and may update these terms — the latest version will always appear on this page.
